8th IFEA Congress, 1-4 October 2010, Athens, Greece
PRELIMINARY REPORT- March 2005
The Executive Board and the General Assembly of the Hellenic Society of Endodontics wish to thank the IFEA General Assembly for their confidence in entrusting the 2010 IFEA Congress to Greece. Furthermore, we wish to reaffirm our determination to organize an exemplary Congress both scientifically and socially.
The Executive Board is currently working towards forming the Congress Organizing Committee. It is expected to reach final decisions by the end of June 2005.
In the meantime, the Board has authorized Dr. Panos Panopoulos to contact the Organizers of the previous IFEA Congresses for the purpose of obtaining organizational information and, possibly, written reports of their congresses.
The immediate tasks of the Organizing Committee will be the development of the Congress’ logo and the selection of the Professional Congress Organizers. This is expected to be concluded by the end of 2005.
At the next IFEA General Assembly, at the Honolulu AAE meeting, we will be able to provide more detailed information of our efforts.
